MODESTO — The Stanislaus Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance is accepting reservations for the 10th annual SAFE Seminar, which will be held March 15 at CrossPoint Community Church, Family Life Pavilion, 11th and Needham streets, Modesto.
FBI special agent Scott Schofield from Sacramento will be the keynote speaker on Internet fraud. Also speaking will be Glenn Gulley, an investigator with the Stanislaus County district attorney's office, who specializes in mortgage fraud.
In addition to the presentations, about 20 agencies will be on hand with information and staff to aid seniors with specific services. The day will begin with a light breakfast and includes lunch.
The event is free. Reservations are required and the deadline is Friday.
