A Modesto woman is being held in the Mariposa County Jail on suspicion of burglary related to a break-in at a home in a Lake Don Pedro subdivision.

Cameo Rodriguez, 30, was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday after Mariposa deputies received a report about a possible burglary in progress on Banderilla Drive.

When the deputy arrived, he saw someone run from a van parked in the driveway of the house. That person was not found, but the deputy and his K9 partner discovered Rodriguez hiding under a deck behind the home.

The home's garage door had been kicked in. Items from the home were found inside the van.

Rodriguez is being held on $50,000 bail.
