• 'DUMP YOUR JUNK' DAY

When: Saturday, 7 a.m. to noon

Where: Central Catholic High School front parking lot,200 S. Carpenter Road

Info: The Central Catholic High School Eco Club is holding a "Dump Your Junk" Day. Items that will be accepted include TVs, washers, dryers, bottles, all metals, workout equipment, cans, water heaters, cardboard, glass, refrigerators and computer monitors/towers. Donations are tax deductible.

• SCRAPBOOKING PROGRAM

When: Saturday and March 23, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Where: Modesto Library, 1500 I St.

Info: Join the Modesto Library and local scrapbooker Anna Soto for a series of free programs to learn about and practice scrapbooking. Some materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. Light refreshments also will be provided.
