TURLOCK -- Turlock police arrested a 45-year-old man suspected of using a fake identity and stolen credit card to rent a generator.
Officers stopped Kreig Bettencourt outside a business in the 1400 block of South Avenue on Friday about 5:20 a.m. with the rented generator.
Police said Bettencourt also had more false identification with him, as well as a second generator. He was arrested on charges of possessing stolen property, fraud, forgery and burglary.
