The workshop will include a welcome by Cecil Russell, Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive officer; a panel discussion on the rewards and challenges of running for and serving in elected office; and a presentation by political consultant Chip Langman about how to launch a campaign. Info: Turlock High will hold its annual election convention in the girls gymnasium. This event mirrors an actual national convention. Students will elect Associated Student Body officers for the 2013-14 school year. Tom Changnon, Stanislaus County superintendent of schools, will be the keynote speaker. Visitors are welcome but must check in at the main office for a visitor pass.
UKULELE STRUM AND SINGALONG
