Use National Guard to fight gangs

California is under siege. We do not have enough law enforcement on the streets. What's with the National Guard? I thought they were a national protective group.

The gangs are taking away our rights to feel safe on our streets and in our homes. Now they are in our small rural cities.

Since we don't have enough local law enforcement, why not call out the National Guard to help our police? Why are so many guardsmen overseas and not enough here to guard our nation?
