Stanislaus county academic champs advance to state level

Stanislaus County Mock Trial and Academic Decathlon champions have been awarded travel stipends totaling $2,500 from the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County to defray expenses of going to the state competitions.

Modesto High School captured first place at Mock Trial and will travel to Riverside on March 22-24.

Oakdale High School took top honors in the Academic Decathlon and will head to Sacramento on March 14-17.
