Modesto High’s Crimson Team and Hickman Charter took gold Saturday at the Science Olympiad at California State University, Stanislaus, capturing first place overall in the high school and junior high divisions.

Central Catholic of Modesto and the Purple Team from Blaker-Kinser Junior High of Ceres took second.

In third place were Enochs High and Hart-Ransom Junior High, both of Modesto. Oakdale High’s Gold Team and La Loma Junior High of Modesto stood in fourth after a day of intense competition.
