-- The last of seven suspects in last year’s triple homicide is in custody today after turning himself into Modesto police.

Ricky Javier Madrigal, 20, faces murder charges in connection with the shooting deaths of 16-year-old David Siebels, 19-year-old Alyxandria Tellez and 31-year-old Edward Joseph Reinig on March 3, 2012, at a home across from the Creekside Golf Course.

In addition to his indictment by a criminal grand jury in the triple homicide, Madrigal is a person of interest in the Dec. 23, 2011, shooting death of a 30-year-old man in east Modesto.

Madrigal’s codefendants in the triple homicide are Robert Palomino, 43, Juan Jose Nila, 27, Armando Osegueda, 31, Jose Osegueda Jr., 36, Richard Tyrone Garcia, 31, and Joseph Luis Jauriqui, 23. They were arrested Tuesday.

All face enhancements for using a firearm, committing the crime during the commission of a burglary and for the benefit of a street gang. All are known members of the Norteños.

The slayings, officials have said, are connected to the alleged torture of a 19-year-old woman about a month before the murders. That woman later was the sole survivor in the McClure Road home.

Garcia and Armando Osegueda have been charged in the indictment with torture, assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment. Garcia also is charged with spousal abuse and enhancements of inflicting great bodily injury, using a knife and a gun, and committing the crimes while out on bail.
