Attacking others' beliefs is biased

Regarding "Jesus set the church's rules" (Feb. 16, Letters): While I don't share the Catholics' view on birth control, to attack them is biased and ignorant and to do that in a cartoon is shameful and disrespectful.

Christians believe because of their faith. Atheists and agnostics can disbelieve to their hearts' content, but neither they nor we are out of line.

In America, to state what we feel is right. We need to learn to respect others.
