BLANKET COLLECTION

Info: Enochs High School seniors are working with the American Red Cross to collect new and used blankets for those in need because of homelessness, poverty or emergency situations. Donated blankets welcome.

DOCUMENTARY FILM PRESENTATION

When: Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Modesto Junior College, Forum 110, 435 College Ave.

Info: MJC's Civic Engagement Project will present "Sing Your Song: Harry Belafonte." The film widens the lens on Belafonte to show his lifelong commitment as an activist for civil rights in the United States and globally. A discussion will follow the film. TECHNICAL SEMINAR

She will speak about regional law enforcement training programs, dealing with state and local mandates such as the governor's realignment directives, and the impact of a law enforcement career on a family.
