TURLOCK -- The annual State of the City address will be the keynote of the Turlock Chamber of Commerce's annual membership breakfast Wednesday.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Carnegie Arts Center, 250 N. Broadway St.
Mayor John Lazar has used the speech in the past to break news. Last year, he announced the arrival of Old Navy and Ulta, as well as hinted at the new Blue Diamond plant.
Chamber President and CEO Sharon Silva and board Chairman Mike Romeo will deliver a State of the Chamber address, as well.
Other speakers will include Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors Chairman Vito Chiesa; California State University, Stanislaus, Interim President Joe Sheley; and Turlock Unified School District Superintendent Sonny Da Marto.
Individual tickets are $35, and table sponsorships are $400.
