The Feb. 13 cartoon shows a very bigoted, biased and ignorant viewpoint toward the Catholic Church. The church has never "updated" its so-called views concerning female priests, contraception or homosexuality. The Catholic Church is only a mirror of the precepts set forth by the Lord Christ and has held those divine precepts unerringly since the Lord established his church on the shoulders of St. Peter more than 2,000 years ago. To attack the church on any of these or any other issues would be tantamount to suing an assemblyline worker for a policy enacted in the corporate board room. If you have a problem with any of this, take it up with Christ. The Catholic Church is not and never has been in the business of social experimentation.
