It's called free speech, not bickering

In "Settle gun control issues soon" (Jan. 31, Letters), "Can you imagine what the rest of the world is thinking of us after all this bickering?" They are probably thinking, "I wish our nation allowed free speech like it is in the USA." I don't call this bickering, I call it discussing.

Nobody is forcing this writer to read about guns. If the heading of the letter indicated guns, don't read it. When someone kills many people and nobody has a gun to stop him, the writer and those like-minded should dig their graves with a shovel, but not with their hands as the writer suggested the NRA do.
