Girl Scouts hold information night in Salida

MODESTO -- Families interested in learning how to start a Girl Scout troop are encouraged to attend a parent information night being offered by the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California at 6 p.m. on Feb. 26 at the Girl Scouts office, 5172 Kiernan Court, Salida.

It's for girls in kindergarten through 12th grade and their parents.

Girl Scouts Heart of Central California serves nearly 29,000 girls and 10,000 volunteers in 18 counties, including Stanislaus, Calaveras, Merced, San Joaquin and Tuolumne.
