WATERFORD TO MEET: The Waterford Unified School District board will meet at 7 tonight in the district board room, 319 N. Reinway Ave. Trustees will consider a safety plan for district schools that includes a fenced perimeter, issuing staff identification badges and holding community safety information nights and school drills. The board will discuss ongoing deficit spending projected to run the district to the bare minimum of reserves in 2013-14. The district has until March 15 to send in a proposal to reverse the trend. HART-RANSOM TO MEET: The Hart-Ransom Union School District board will meet tonight at 6 in the district board room, 3930 Shoemake Ave. The board will consider approval of a temporary Snack Shack structure provided by HRBBC for use as a snack-bar facility and select a company for chain-link fencing along the fire lane on the south end of campus. STANISLAUS UNION TO MEET: The Stanislaus Union School District board will meet at 7 tonight in Room 11 of the district office, 2410 Janna Ave., Modesto. Trustees are expected to finalize criteria for the selection of a superintendent to succeed Wayne Brown, who is retiring June 30. Recommendations include requiring a master's degree, and experience in site and district administration and teaching.
