It's the politicians who'd come after us

Regarding the Jan. 31 letter "You and what army?": I don't believe we have to worry about the armed forces coming after us. I believe you have to worry about the politicians.

However, once the weapons are confiscated, what choice do we have? Even the commander-in-chief would not dare be that brazen.

I agree with the letter writer; it's time to move on, kids.
