Enforce the gun laws we have now

So California's gun check system is a good U.S. model? I agree. Yet why do some California elected officials say this state needs stronger gun laws?

I laugh when any elected idiot says, "If this law saves just one life, it is worth it." Really? Fourteen hundred people have killed themselves by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. So, if it saves just one life, why not close the bridge?

California has one of the highest murder rates in the nation and the toughest gun laws.

Less than 500 people were killed in the U.S. last year with a rifle. More people were killed with hammers than rifles. Over 6,000 people killed with a handgun. Want to guess what they go after next?

As the old saying goes: How do you eat a elephant? One bite at a time. Let's enforce the laws we now have and wake up and realize that the police cannot defend you or your family. We have a God-given and Constitutional right to defend ourselves, family and property.

Guns, hammers and knives are not the problem. Society is the problem.
