Arm the American public

Just some thoughts:

• Would there be all this talk about gun control if an Islamist terrorist had shot all of our kids in Newtown, Conn., or would the call be "to arms, to arms"?

• If you really want to stop all of these mass killings, then arm the greatest army in the history of the world, the American people. Then the crazies wouldn't have a chance.

• The black gangs, the Mexican gangs, the Asian gangs, the biker gangs, the drug dealers, the drug addicts, all the crazies, every outlaw — they all have guns. So why take mine?
