Focus on Education: Yosemite Community College District board to meet

The Yosemite Community College District board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the district boardroom, 2201 Blue Gum Ave. Modesto trustees will hear a presentation on how features of the new Modesto Junior College Science Community Center will enhance instruction. SPEECH AND LANGUAGE CLASS:

Turlock Unified School District speech and language pathologists will offer a class, "Speech and Language: A Partnership Between Home and School," at two times Feb. 26. A morning session will meet from 8:30 to 10 at 1100 Cahill Ave. An evening session will be from 6 to 7:30 at 1574 E. Canal Drive. The event is free; reservations are required by Feb. 22.
