• T-BIRD CLUB MEETING

Info: The Modesto Area Classic T-Bird Club will hold its monthly meeting. The club welcomes individuals who own or are interested in the preservation of 1955, '56 and '57 Ford Thunderbirds. Patterson

• SCRAPBOOKING

• DEL PUERTO CANYON HIKE

When: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Meet at the Community Complex parking lot, next to Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Ave. Passenger van is available, but participants also may drive on their own to the hike area.

Info: Saturday's hike is rated "easy" and is for people of all ages. On March 9, there will be a "strenuous" hike of 4.2 miles through some of the most scenic locations in Del Puerto Canyon. On April 13, a "moderately strenuous" hike of 2.5 miles will follow Del Puerto Creek downstream from the western, flat portion of the Minnear Day Use Area. There's no charge for the guided hikes; to sign up or learn more, call (209) 895-8080.
