25 YEARS AGO: The Modesto Irrigation District sold the former Waterford Irrigation District office to the Waterford School District. The building had been acquired by the MID when the two irrigation districts merged in 1978. It had been kept open until the MID finished $1 million in canal repair work in Waterford in 1985.
