A former Yosemite National Park employee Monday pleaded guilty to spending $32,820 on personal expenses with credit cards intended for official government purchases, the U.S. attorney's office in Sacramento reported.
Mary Alice Walk, 61, of Midpines was convicted of theft of government property. Prosecutors said Walk worked at the park from October 2008 through June 2009.
She is to be sentenced April 15 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
