AVID information meeting Thursday in Modesto

The AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Information Night for eighth-grade students and parents will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Modesto High School auditorium, 18 H St.

AVID is a college readiness system designed to increase learning and performance, as well as increase the number of students who succeed in higher education and careers.

This is the only AVID informational meeting for anyone in the Modesto City Schools high schools attendance area.
