The Kaepernicks do certainly have the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. How do I know? I had the same opportunity last year and would not change one minute of it for the world.
When the New York Giants won the chance to be in Super Bowl XLVI, it gave the Pascoe family the same opportunity. Since my daughter is married to a Pascoe and we had watched Bear Pascoe in his Fresno State football career, I was excited to be included in the Pascoe clan trip to Indianapolis. Last-minute deals on air and staying outside of Indianapolis gave us a more affordable trip. Being in on the excitement was so much fun.
Having the connection to a team member affords the average fan so much and being on the winning side and sharing it with a family member is the greatest. All I can say to the family is, enjoy every moment.
