Veterans facility is meeting topic

MODESTO -- At a workshop Saturday, the Stanislaus County Veterans Advisory Commission will discuss the need for a veterans facility.

The county is exploring a possible facility where veteran groups could meet.

Service and program needs and potential locations will be discussed at the workshop, which starts at 1 p.m. in the American Legion Hall, 1001 S. Santa Cruz Ave., Modesto.
