As a longtime subscriber to this paper, it is pretty sad that The Bee can publish an article stating that foreclosures have dropped to a still-numbing number of 512 in a three-month period, in this county (Jan. 24, Page B-1). "Only 512" was the quote.
That's 171 a month, almost six a day, during Christmas as well.
These are families! These are our homes. These are our lives. How insensitive can the newspaper be?
This is still a devastating time for many. Maybe The Bee's journalists would be more sensitive if they had lost their homes during the Christmas season.
When the number is zero, then write an article.
With all of the opinions The Bee throws at us on how to vote and what to think, I hope you can print this opinion. One foreclosed home is too many. I find it hard to believe that anyone could be this insensitive about such a touchy subject.
I am fighting to keep my family home that I have been in for over 25 years. I don't wish this on my worst enemy, but maybe you would be a little more sensitive if it happened to you or your family.
