DENAIR -- The Denair Unified School District board will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. today in the district boardroom, 3460 Lester Road. Members will meet first in closed session to go over negotiations for 2013-14 with their unions and conduct another evaluation of Superintendent Ed Parraz.
In open session, the board will vote on approving four furlough days for classified confidential employees. The cut would amount to a 3.5 percent reduction in wages effective Feb. 1, saving the district $6,184 over the remainder of the 2012-13 fiscal year.
Trustees will give district recognition to Associate Superintendent and Denair Charter Academy Principal Karla Paul, then accept her resignation, effective Jan. 31.
