Warrant, photo issued for Modesto murder suspect

MODESTO -- Modesto police released a photograph of a murder suspect and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Francisco Hernandez Gonzales, 50, is wanted in connection with the murder of Trinidad Cordero, 55, who was stabbed after an altercation Jan. 12 at the Redwood Apartment complex on Yosemite Boulevard.

Gonzales is 5 feet 4, 140 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He has a prosthetic left leg and walks with a pronounced limp. Gonzales has facial skin discoloration.

Police ask anyone who may know his whereabouts to call 911. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636.
