Where: First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way

Info: The Friends of the Turlock Public Library Book Sale 2013 gets under way for members only, with memberships sold at the door, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Friday and Saturday sales are open to all. This year there are more than 10,000 books being sold. Cost is 50 cents to $1 for most of the hardbacks and paperbacks, categorized for easy pickings. All profits go to the Turlock library.
