— Clay Walker will make his third appearance at the Stanislaus County Fair, opening the annual event’s 10-day run July 12.

Walker, who performed at the fair in 2008 and 2011, has earned spots on the Billboard singles chart 31 times.

His hits include “Dreaming With My Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make a Living,” “This Woman and This Man” and “Rumor Has It.”

He also is an accomplished rodeo cowboy, once placing seventh in the cutting horse competition in the Houston Livestock Rodeo.
