Second arrest in fatal hit-and-run

TURLOCK -- A second suspect was arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in Turlock in November.

Natasha Titsworth, 20, of Delhi was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact to the single-vehicle wreck that killed 18-year-old Taylor Vessel.

Titsworth is the registered owner of the Chevrolet Malibu in which Vessel was a passenger when the driver lost control along Lander Avenue, hit a tree and came to rest against a house on Lander.

The driver, identified by police as Jose Jesus Aguilar, 19, of Delhi fled the scene and had been sought by Turlock police until his arrest earlier this month.

Titsworth was not in the car during the accident. Police said she initially tried to report the vehicle stolen, and then refused to cooperate with the investigation.
