Set up a fund to fix blighted home

After reading the Jan. 13 article "Battle of the blight" about Brad and Greg Jarrell's property woes, a simple solution occurred to me — creation and administration of a fund by Modesto residents to pay for the removal of yard debris and making the house habitable.

I don't live in Modesto, but I would be willing to make a donation.
