Can't keep raising the debt ceiling

January 17, 2013

During President Barack Obama's press conference Monday, he made the debate entirely about paying our bills. He used the analogy of going out to dinner and needing to pay the bill afterward.

Let's finish painting that picture. We pay the bill with a credit card, then when that card is at its limit, we just get out another card. At some point we need to control the spending. Obama agrees to "having conversations" about spending cuts, but has not committed to much.
