Waxing poetic about photo of Kap

I comment on a photo published Jan. 12 on the front of the Sports section — the photo of Colin Kaepernick.

I couldn't help but be mesmerized viewing the photo. There stood Kap, the leader, in total concentration, viewing the defense's setup. Like a maestro in front of his orchestra waiting to conduct the first downbeat of a great symphony he stands. And his players in front of him wait like lions to jump in unison for their kill, eyes focused in total concentration. Amazing!

I couldn't take my eyes off of that photo, a true "wow" moment for this reader. Congratulations to The Bee for choosing that photo and kudos to the fortunate photographer who captured the moment.
