Guns preserve our liberty

A letter said other countries have either no or very low incidence of crimes due to the use of a gun. And why is that? Because their citizens cannot own guns!

The only way that we can preserve our liberty is by owning weapons to protect our individual rights. I do not want the government to take care of my security.

Quoting Thomas Jefferson, "Those who hammer their guns into plows, will plow for those who have not." Also from our Founding Fathers, "Those who trade liberty for security have neither."

Do we need more laws? The ones already on the books are not being enforced. Government, get out of our way and let us take care of ourselves.
