Empire Union School District board to meet

MODESTO -- The Empire Union School District board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the district boardroom, 116 N. McClure Road, Modesto.

The Glick Glee Club will perform "A Loser Like Me" for the board. Trustees will accept the yearly independent audit and review bond expenditures.

The district has spent $1.8 million on technology for schools and has $2.6 million in the account, according to agenda documents.

The board will review new job descriptions for directors of food services and maintenance, operations and transportation.
