Riverbank honors set for Saturday

The Riverbank Citizen of the Year committee will hold its 50th annual community awards banquet Saturday at the Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe St.

A social hour will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will follow at 7, with the announcement of the citizen of the year, youth of the year and business of the year.

The dinner will be catered by Tahoe Joe's of Modesto and include chicken and tri-tip with side dishes, beverages and dessert. A live auction will be held, with proceeds going toward scholarships for the youth winner and nominees.
