TURLOCK -- A truck hit a sport utility vehicle in Turlock before sunrise Friday morning, causing a chain reaction that involved four vehicles.
There were no injuries, said officer Mayra Lewis, Police Department spokeswoman.
The crash happened about 6:45 a.m. at Marshall Street and Golden State Boulevard.
According to Becki Woodall, who was taking her daughter to day care when she saw the crash, a Pacific Gas & Electric pickup heading south on Golden State turned into the path of the SUV, which was heading west on Marshall.
The SUV rolled, hitting a truck going east on Marshall and a car behind that truck before coming to rest at the intersection's northwest corner.
Conditions were clear and cold. Lewis said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
