High school taking donations for care packages to troops

MODESTO -- Valley Charter High School in Modesto is collecting donations to pack and ship to U.S. troops serving worldwide.

Military Troop Support will sponsor a care package packing event on Jan. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the school, 108 Campus Way, off North Ninth Street.
