-- Waterford city officials are planning a party next week to show off their new digs. The city recently completed a new City Hall at 101 E St. The building, which stands on the corner of E and Yosemite Boulevard, is the city's first permanent City Hall - formerly staff occupied a modular building tucked away in a parking lot. An open house is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Jan. 16. The grand opening ceremony is set for 6:30 p.m., to coincide with the City Council's first meeting in the new building. Members had been meeting in the city's community center. Police Services, provided in Waterford through a contract with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, will move into the former City Hall building.
