Report: Maloofs close to selling Kings to Seattle group

The Maloofs are close to finalizing a deal to sell the Sacramento Kings to a group that would move the team to Seattle, according to an Internet report today.

A columnist for Yahoo Sports reported on Twitter that the Maloofs are close to agreeing to sell the team for about $500 million to Chris Hansen, the financier who has a tentative deal in place to build a new arena.
