Modesto Wells Fargo robbed

Modesto police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

The man, identified by police as Latino, walked into the bank at 3456 McHenry Ave., at Sylvan Avenue, and handed a teller a note demanding money and indicating that he had a gun, said Sgt. Steve Stanfield.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the building through the north exit.

He was wearing a maroon hooded sweat shirt and jeans and had masked the bottom part of his face. He was about 5 foot 9, 150 pounds.
