-- A bicycle stop in Turlock yielded a burglary arrest when police reportedly found items taken from a remodeling project in the rider's possession.

According to police reports, an officer stopped David Herndon, 34, for a bicycle violation at 11:38 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Pedras Road.

Herndon had a bicycle trailer that had several items in it that were alleged to be stolen. The owner, whose home is being remodeled, identified the property, police said.

Herndon was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property and burglary.
