Two motorcycles collide with Cadillac in Modesto

MODESTO -- Two motorcycles collided with a Cadillac at Oakdale Road and County Center Court on Monday evening.

One of the motorcycles caught fire and its driver had to be taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The motorcyclists were heading south on Oakdale about 5:30 when the driver of the Cadillac traveling north made a left turn in front of them, according to Modesto police. Police are investigating whether speed was a factor, anyone ran a red light or the Cadillac driver failed to yield.

The injured motorcyclist’s name and age were not available, but police said he suffered at least one broken bone.
