Local elected boards resume their meeting schedules this week. The lineup includes:

• The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors, meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, will hear the annual report on its mentoring program. At 8:30 a.m., Supervisors Vito Chiesa, Jim DeMartini and Bill O'Brien and will be sworn in for their new four-year terms. Basement, Tenth Street Place.

• The Modesto City Council, meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, will consider setting fees for downtown restaurants that want to encroach on the sidewalks to provide outdoor meeting areas. Basement, Tenth Street Place.

• The Modesto council's Safety and Communities Committee, meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, will consider revisions to its entertainment permit ordinance. Room 2008, Tenth Street Place.

• The Modesto Irrigation District board, meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, will consider whether to continue to require customers to own their solar installations to be eligible for rebates. 1231 11th St.

• The Turlock Irrigation District board also meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday. 333 E. Canal Drive, Turlock.

• The Yosemite Community College District board of trustees meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto.

• The Denair Unified School District board, meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, will continue dealing with its serious budget troubles. The agenda includes certificated layoffs, 3.5 percent pay cuts for hourly certificated employees and changes in the administration organization. 3460 Lester Road.

• The Turlock Unified School District board meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, 1100 Cahill Ave.
