I have been thinking about this for some time. A while ago, I was on the city of Modesto Disability Access Appeals Board. I had some questions about the new pedestrian-bicycle overpass that is between McHenry and College avenues.

I sent the questions to the person in charge and then forwarded them to the person that was handling the overpass. He told me wait and see until it was done.

It's now done and I still don't see how a disabled person in a wheelchair or using a walker can go up and down. That is not right.

As a disabled person who uses a walker, I can't use that to get from one side to the other. This problem needs to be looked into and see why they did not make access for the disabled to use it who are in wheelchairs and-or using walkers.
