Arrests made in 2011 Manteca homicide

MANTECA -- Two reported Hells Angels members were arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a Manteca man in August 2011.

San Joaquin County sheriff's detectives identified Brandon Gunn, 31, and David Splan, 42, as suspects in the case.

They are charged with murder in the death of Daniel Martinez, 26, who was killed Aug. 15, 2011, in the 17000 block of Ideal Parkway in rural Manteca.

Another man was shot but recovered from his injuries.

Gunn and Splan are being held at the San Joaquin County Jail.
