TURLOCK -- Turlock Police announced this morning they made three arrests in a sting last month aimed at people willing to buy alcoholic beverages for minors.
On Dec. 22, two underage decoys approached more than 20 people outside various stores and asked them to buy alcohol. Three agreed, authorities said.
Police arrested Michael McCarran, 42, of Turlock; Robert Corona 23, of Modesto and Tino Fayard, 44, of Newman. The department plans future shoulder-tap operations throughout the year.
