Oakdale High's Nico Colunga (18-0) rolled through all six of his matches and won the 106-pound title at the Sierra Nevada Classic in Reno, one of the top events in the West. Though he has stayed in the same weight class this season, the sophomore has gotten stronger. He is living up to the promise he showed as a freshman, when he reached the State Meet and placed fourth at the Masters. "He wrestled all summer and is very dedicated," Oakdale coach Brian Stevens said. "Nico has done everything we've asked him to do."
